Liquid Telecom has revealed the latest expansion of its FTTH network in Zimbabwe. Liquid Telecom has already laid fibre rings around Victoria Falls, which provide multiple routes of redundancy.
It is now starting to lay fibre to homes and businesses in the town over which the Fibroniks service will be offered by ZOL Zimbabwe, which is part of The Liquid Telecom Group. Fibroniks is already available in Harare. Unlimited data packages with speeds of up to 100Mbps will be offered at a fixed monthly price, including landlines.
Outside Zimbabwe, Liquid Telecom has launched its FTTH service in Zambia; however, plans are now underway to launch FTTH in Kenya, Rwanda and two undisclosed countries shortly.

According to Liquid Telecom, the Fibroniks service enables people to participate in, and benefit from, the digital revolution.
