Go Africa Harlem Community Launch Event on May 5th 2015 @ MIST Harlem Kicks Off the Countdown to First Go Africa Harlem Street Festival taking place on July 18th 2015
WHO: Go Africa Network Inc. in conjunction with the Association Nationale Des Senegalais D Amerique Inc. and supported by Manhattan Community Board 10; Halstead Property; The Consulate General of Senegal; The Delegate General of Cote d’Ivoire; Ambassador of Guinea, Consulate General Guinea; The office of Bronx Borough President; The Honorable W. Franc Perry, Judge of Civil Court of the City of New York; The African Advisory Council of the Bronx Borough President; and the Ambassadors, Consul Generals, and Trade Boards of numerous African countries to promote to the Cultural, Trade & Commerce, and Heritage of Africa and the African diaspora communities In the New York City Area and throughout the world.
WHAT: We are having a culturally themed reception on 05/05/2015 from 5:30-pm – 9:30pm to launch and celebrate the countdown to the first annual Go Africa Harlem Street Festival to be held on July 18th 2015. Featuring Master of Ceremonies, the distinguished Mr. Musa Jackson.
WHERE: The culturally themed reception will take place at MIST Harlem, 46 W 116th St, New York, NY 10026, between Fifth and Lenox Avenues. Featuring Master of Ceremonies, the distinguished Mr. Musa Jackson.

Purpose and Objective: Go Africa Harlem 2015 Community Launch event seeks to highlight the cultural and economic achievements of Africans and the African Diaspora communities while also honoring the following individuals for their significant commitments to the African community of the years. The individuals to be honored at the event are:
- The Honorable Elhadji Ndao, The Consulate General of Senegal
- The Honorable Inza Camara, The Delegate General of Cote d’Ivoire
- The Honorable Ambassador Mamadi Toure of Guinea
- The Honorable Abou SAKHO, Consulate General Guinea
- The Honorable Ruben Diaz Jr., Bronx Borough President
- The Honorable W. Franc Perry, Judge of Civil Court of the City of New York
- The Honorable Prof. Michael John Downie, Chair., Arts & Culture Committee, Manhattan Community Board 10
- Ibrahima Papi Sow, President, Association Nationale Des Senegalais D Amerique Inc.
- Charles Cooper Jr., President, African Advisory Council of the Bronx Borough President
WHY: For VIPs, sponsors, and the media who are interested in supporting and/or learning more about the Go Africa Harlem Street Festival to be held on July 18, 2015.
