MainOne, a major provider of telecommunications services in West Africa, has opened its US$40 million data center in Lagos.
The Tier III purpose-built facility, the largest of its kind in the region, was originally expected to come online in the third quarter of 2014.

MainOne‘s MDX-i tier III Lekki data center in Lagos, Nigeria is the biggest and best of its kind in West Africa.
The data center cost $38M and has capacity for 600 racks. It is just the first of many planned by MainOne for Nigeria.
